Working alongside the Community we understand the value of involving community organisations in restoration projects, and that this is a long-term undertaking requiring relationships to be developed and partnerships to evolve. This ensures all parties involvement and “buy in”.
We are happy to mentor and support community organisations to ensure their work is valued and our team take ownership of their areas and volunteers that work alongside us learn and expand their knowledge.

Paul is one of the owners and Company Director for NZ Enviro Ltd. He has extensive experience in the field implementing tracks and boardwalks. Paul prides himself on his organisational skills, and is able to manage multiple projects across a range of locations, clients and staff. Paul maintains sound communication channels with all clients and staff to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently. Paul also has a strong background in the financial management of projects to ensure all projects are completed on time and on budget.
Paul has also been involved in several large scale projects for both the Department of Conservation (nationwide), Auckland Council, Regional Councils across the country and also projects in the Northland, Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions, including some of the Kauri Dieback projects. He has also worked extensively in the South Island building DOC huts and upgrading tracks as and when required. Remote access work is a specialty of Pauls, and he prides himself on working closely with helicopter pilots, and staff and clients in some very harsh conditions to bring projects to successful completion.
Paul is also experienced in mapping assets for clients, and has been involved in a number of projects working closely with Auckland Council to ensure mapped assets are current and up to date.
Lauren is one of the owners and Directors of NZ Enviro Ltd Lauren has a wealth of experience in the Ecological Restoration sector. She has managed many large scale projects including Twin Streams, which she ran successfully as project supervisor for 8 years across all five catchments at various times. This work saw her creating works programmes, auditing physical works, running the field team, monthly meetings with Council Reps and meeting KPI’s for the project.
She has also worked in most of the Regional Parks across greater Auckland, both in the field and management and report writing.
She is adept at the use of GPS and has used these extensively across all projects. Track logs, grid searching and locating and dealing to localised infestations i.e. climbing asparagus and moth plant sites where targeted plant pest control is required.
Lauren has extensive experience working alongside Community groups, and is extremely proud of her ability to build strong relationships with groups and clients alike.
Lauren holds site supervisor gold card, registered chemical applicator, chainsaw certificate, 4wd certificate and first aid.
